"Men are what their mothers made them" --Ralph Waldo Emerson
All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother.
Mothers are fonder than fathers of their children because they are more certain they are their own.
The loveliest materpiece of the heart of God is the love of a Mother.

Weekend is the perfect time to watch movie. As much as I love to take M to the cinema to watch the latest kid’s movies, I have to nail ourselves at home for as much as possible. Because M had just recover from his bad viral infection, still left with a bit coughing to fight though. So we will just watch whichever movies that we have at home. It’ll be as fun!!

The movie that I’d love to recommend this time is:

Mars Needs Moms (2011)

Why mom recommends this:

This movie is funny, touching and not too heavy to be taken for young kids. Plus it may help you to be closer to your little ones, well it works for me and M.

The movie is about Milo, a young kid with all his braveness and creativity trying to save his mom from the martians who abduct his mom and tried to take her brain, because they think that she’s the best mom on earth to train the martian’s baby.

This movie has been rated as average, but I personally think that it’s a good movie in the sense of building our creativity on few questions that our little ones may ask. We’ve actually watched this movie for several times, and each time M always has new questions (and repeated questions) about the movie.

Just a short story about our moment. This was M’s first movie ever watched at the cinema. And it was the very first time I saw him tearing up watching the saddest part of the movie, when Milo’s mom gave up her oxygen mask to save Milo. M was tearing up then reached out for my arms and hug me. It was too sweet to forget.

Happy watching!
