As we all know, trying to conceive is about the right timing (psychologically, financially and physically). We have to be ready psychologically and financially to support all the baby’s needs. Physically it should be at the right time when the female are most fertile and when the male's sperm is in the healthy condition.
Not all female are lucky enough to have their fertile cycle in the predicted manner, whereby they have their menstruation cycle regularly. Some of the female (I'll say including myself) have irregularly menstruation cycle. Therefore it's very difficult for them to know their most fertile period.
You see, when you said that you’ve been trying to conceive for years, well you’re actually don’t missed out your whole year of trying. Because the “right timing” for female only happens maximum 12 times every year (some happens lesser than that). And not to mention that whenever the female is in the “right timing”, the male may not. So, even if you’ve been giving your shot for every week for the whole year, the actual chances that you really attempt may only just in the count of your fingers. So relax, nothing’s wrong with your eggs or his sperm.
There are easy ways to find out when you’re ovulated. You can get yourself tested using the over the counter ovulation test pack, but it’s costly and you will have to test yourself everyday to find out. Another way to find out without cost you a penny is by doing the basal body chart.
Things to prepare:
1. A body thermometer (in which I’m sure you’ll have it in your house).
2. A monthly table that you can make it by yourself or download our chart, then print it.
Things to do:
4. Drink lots of fluids
5. Get your body temperature measured every morning right after you wake up in the morning. Do it at the same time for each day. You may do it orally, rectally or vaginally but once you start doing it with one way keep it constantly doing it the same way.
6. Keep recording your temperature on your chart.
