"Men are what their mothers made them" --Ralph Waldo Emerson
All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother.
Mothers are fonder than fathers of their children because they are more certain they are their own.
The loveliest materpiece of the heart of God is the love of a Mother.

Finally the day that we've been waiting has come!!

It was 3 am in the morning when I decided to make a trip to the hospital, feeling that the contractions are getting closer to each others. I ca barely walk during each contractions. After a quick shower and light make up (oh yes, those 2 has been on my to-do-list before the hospital trip) me and Daddy went for a big labor. Max was asleep and stayed at home with my in laws.

After Daddy finished with all the registration, I've already settled down at the birthing room, on 3 cm dilated. As we've already discussed about our birthing plan with Dr. Aziz, to be allowed to walk around the birthing centre was on our list. So there I was trying my best to walk around the room, sometimes had a sway dancing with Daddy, it helped to make me feel better.

About an hour later, I decided to lay down. Contractions getting stronger and it was 6 cm dilated. I started to run out of breath at each contractions, the hypnobirth music almost couldn't help anymore, I decided to take the gas. I was then back on track again.

It was 6.45 am when I finally had that urges to push. But the nurse kept telling me to hold and it was the most difficult thing to do among all the labor process. I was still 9 cm dilated and Dr. Aziz was still on his way to the hospital, I got panic! I tried so many breathing techniques and moved to fews positions but it didn't help.

Around 7 am plus, Dr. Aziz had finally arrived, and with all the leftover power I had, baby had arrived just at few pushes :) It was very fast and much easier than when it was with Max. Well they said it gets easier by numbers :)

Zachary Altair Baraka was born at 2,8 kg and 51 cm length. And just like Max, I was immediately felt in love at our first sight. Well it was kinda de ja vu, as both of them really looked alike on their just-born face.

Aaahh... Love is in the air... our 38 weeks of waiting is totally worth it!!
